Pre- Production should take about six weeks. Easy right?  I found out making a movie is like climbing Mount Everest 7 times over. Only harder.

Mount Everest ( 1- 7)

  1. write the script
  2. get the money
  3. shoot the picture
  4. edit the picture
  5. screen and premiere your picture
  6. find a distributor or self distribute
  7. market the picture

Shoot #1 of 2

Pre Production 1. Yes we had two pre productions in the end and multiple reshoots . But before I get ahead of myself let me back up a bit.  The script was written by Tata in 4 months. The money we had put aside to make a different movie that had fallen though would be used to green light Visage.

Visage was green lit September 1. 2015. I filed for an LLC  and expected it back in a month. Wrong. The papers for the LLC took nearly until December to come back. We started shooting the 1st of November. The Visage bank account was set up as a private account that resulted in having my bank card shut down 3-5 times per day by the bank fraud division. Haggling with the bank between trying to shoot a movie was a real pain that would last for the next, oh say, two years.

The outside of the apartment in North Hollywood, CA where a lot of Visage was written and all of Pre-Production, Production and most of Post Production for Visage took place.
